My husband was my inspiration. I had many ideas for choosing a name for my business, but my 3 sons and girlfriend, Tammie convinced me it needed to be named after my late husband of 35 year’s nickname for me. He always called me “Chica” (I was his little Chica).

My husband passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in January of 2023. He was a lover of sugar cookies, and it was the only cookie he would request. So that is where the name Chica”s Cookies came from. When my sons saw some of my creations and tasted them, they encouraged me to roll with it. I was very skeptical at first, but they helped me with my decision to move forward.

My vision is to be continuously inspired by my husband, our sons, and you, my customers. I am truly grateful for the generosity of all of my customers and your continued support. I hope to create an exciting cookie buzz and look forward to becoming a special part of your memories, moments, and dreams.
